There are several possible configurations for the ukulele. In our opinion, the natural fiber version best imitates the properties of Hawaiian Koa and thus produces a more traditional sound. The carbon fiber version can be advantageous to some performers who desire a brighter sound with a higher volume output. Combinations of both fibers are also available.
